CLUB MANILA EAST May 2004-August 2004
A couple of months after graduation, I worked as an in-house one-man design team for a resort in Taytay, Rizal. I was the graphic artist, copywriter and photographer. I developed the initial marketing collaterals for the three resorts in Manila, Quezon and Boracay; and overhauled their logo. It would have been a fun job if I weren’t confined alone in the VP’s room (who always always out, thank God!). I just finished the 3-month contract and headed to my first “real” job in AB Communications, Inc.
AB COMMUNICATIONS, INC. October 2004-May 2006
As much as I would have liked my 1 1/2 years stay in this full-service ad agency to be a creative boot camp, I found myself 70% of the time just dilly-dallying around. At least I had more time to spend on my freelance projects and cultivate a very wonderful friendship with my writer pal, Sam. Below are works of our creative team, which of course I played a significant part in (any objections, former colleagues? haha!):
About 6 months after I left the company, I came back to work again in a contractual basis for a couple of months. I guess I couldn’t bear the emptiness of the once-noise-and-laughter-filled cubicle. We were once 5 in the team until everyone left. Oh, too much drama! So, here are the few accounts I worked on alone with the creative director:
HITEKZ WEB DESIGN
I had been designing for print since college and having the opportunity to work on web interfaces had been such a good addition to my portfolio and skills.
OTHERS
I wish I was able to finish this annual report but unfortunately, the project didn’t push through.

This cd/cassette tape sleeve design was for a former colleague, Art Ruiz and producer Jimmy Antiporda. I wonder when I could get my next CD design project. Hehehe…
